DAVIS, Robert - Putnam

Montezuma Dec 12 – Robert Davis, employee of the Wabash Sand and Gravel Company at Terre Haute met a dreadful death near here when his car hit another machine parked on the highway and rolled down an embankment filled with backwater from a recent flood. Davis was pinned in the water underneath his car.  He drowned while rescuers worked frantically to get him out.
